Baarrooka FC Smoky Quartz

An excellent female with EEaa sire and grandsire – despite her roan colouring, is very likely to also be EEaa black. Smoky Quartz has an excellent pedigree, filled with the US-import males that have significantly influenced our black breeding program – Ultimate Black (x2), Durango, Kingsford and Supreme (Full Accoyo eeaa). I would be tempted to mate her to one of our grey studs, but a black mating is also a logical choice.

Firecracker has produced a raft of excellent black and roan progeny for us – passing on his excellent lock architecture, density and lustre. Smoky Quartz is an excellent example of this. Her fleece statistics have remained consistent and Excellent for a black bred suri. Smoky Quartz has been paddock mated to the impressive Baarrooka Entrepreneur.
