About this alpaca
Evita is one of our best-producing black dams. Her fleece has a very silky handle, good locking and is very lustrous. Evita has a great head, and solid frame.
Her quality is not a surprise as she is by the incomparable Durango (photo 1) and her dam is a fawn Supreme Champion (in the era when coloureds DID NOT beat whites) (photo 2). That she produces blacks to black males is an added bonus.
One of her sons, Baarrooka UB El Paso was Supreme Black at Spectacular 2017 and is now the top black stud male at Baarrooka (see photos 3-5 above). Evita has also given us a range of black females to different sires by both natural matings and embryo transfer. For this reason we are able to offer her to a high quality black suri breeding program where she can continue to produce elite black progeny.
Evita has been mated to Baarrooka TB Black Trans Am (not confirmed).
