About this alpaca
Thundercrack is the full brother of our Supreme Champion brown male, Foreign Affair, and has been selected, along with Bostano and Entertainment, as the progeny from Durango to be used in our white commercial herd to pass on Durango’s traits of density, fineness and lack of guard hair. The photos of him above are at age 8 years.
Thundercrack maintains a fine, lustrous fleece and has the amiable temperament of his sire – an important trait in a large commercial herd.
In his first year of production in the commercial herd he produced a number of show winners including Reserve Champion Junior Male, National 2019 and many stunning fleeces from his progeny, including 1st in both the Junior and Intermediate Light Fawn classes at the 2021 Sydney Royal. Thundercrack himself, at 7 years won the Aged Champion with a stunning lustrous fleece.
We will be giving this male a very solid run across the entire commercial herd – the fleece traits he is producing is all we hoped for and more.
