About this alpaca
This is the most magnificent coloured suri male I have seen. He rivals his sire, the outstanding Macgyver. Durango has spectacular fleece statistics, with his 2-year-old fleece analysis 18.5, 4.5 sd and CF 98.6. His skin biopsy in Februrary 2009 was S:P 12.6 and Fn 47.8.
Durango has numerous top quality offspring, many of them champions. The ones I have seen convinced me that this male will be the one to take my breeding program from good to the best. Durango is 3/4 Accoyo with accoyo sires Bruxo and Uribe on each side of his pedigree.
Due to the investment we have made in him, Durango is held in-house, although he is available to be used over sold Baarrooka females. Offspring are available for sale.
