Baarrooka Trans Am Javelin

Javelin has all the top imported males in his pedigree and is from our best dark Durango daughter, Europa who has produced 4 stud males (every one of her male cria, to various sires) and 3 Supreme Black (two of them in regrowth) and 1 Supreme Roan at Colourbration. If it wasn’t for Covid, that tally would be even better.

Javelin was also Best Black at the 2023 National.  He has quite a different pedigree from the majority of our black lines, so will be used broadly in the Baarrooka herd.

Javelin has a strong frame with solid bone and was already settling females at 2 years of age – we are looking forward to his first progeny in 2025. He has a very dense and well-nourished fleece – something needed in the black suris, so we are excited about his future here. His first fleece, shorn at 18 months weighed 3.5 kg (annualised to 2.6 kg) and won Best Black Suri Fleece at 2024 Colourbration and Nati0nal shows.
