Baarrooka Magic Ezra ET

Ezra is a bay black male with impeccable genetics. Being born in the COVID period, he has not been shown, but his sire, dam and siblings have.

He is from our best dark Durango daughter, Europa, who was awarded Supreme Roan in both the halter and fleece classes at Colourbration. Europa has had 4 progeny and all are of exceptional quality. Eidolon by Baarrooka Poltergeist (DG) was Supreme Black at Colourbration on his regrowth fleece and is now standing at stud in NSW. Eurydice, a full sister to Ezra has the best fleece we have ever produced in a black (photos above in first fleece). She was Reserve Champion and Best Black at Red Hill Show 2021 and Supreme Black in regrowth at Colourbration 2022. Europa’s 2020 cria by Ultimate Freedom has a super dense fleece which was awarded Supreme Roan and he himself was awarded Supreme Roan in regrowth at Colourbration 2022.

We are looking forward to the qualities Ezra will put into our black herd – particularly his soft handle, excellent lustre and nourished fleece and density. The photos above show his (dusty) regrowth fleece – unfortunately I don’t have many photos of him, but he was enough of a standout that Onyx Alpacas, while looking for a True Black stud, couldn’t go past him. They own a half share and Ezra will spend Spring/Summer in the Otway Ranges.
