About this alpaca
It was impossible to go past Dole Bludger when selecting some new studs, with his sturdy frame, excellent fleece and injection of some different genetics to keep the diversity in our white herd. He does have some colour onhis dam’s side, so is recommended to coloured breeders as well.
At his first shearing at 21 months of age, his fleece test came back with impressive numbers – 16.9 SD 3.4 CF 100% (butt end test) His coarse edge micron (CEM) was 6.6. The 2021 results were likewise pleasing, and with continued expression of lustre, locking and fineness on a very straight and strong frame, he has ticked the boxes for entry onto Stud Row.
His first cria were born in Autumn 2023 and they are looking great! We will continue to offer him for outside matings at a discount price.
