Baarrooka Halfway to Heaven ET

As we reduce our breeding herd, we have a number of excellent males for sale.

Halfway to Heaven is half Accoyo by our US Import Torbio’s Accoyo Supreme. His dam Living Proof was a surprise black out of a white, sired by a black US import ABF Fine Thread’s Kingsford. She has produced 6/7 black cria to Supreme, all of them excellent quality. You would have seen a couple of Living Proof’s most recent cria in the show ring over the last year or two – with many Best Black awards for Dunbar’s Run.

While I had appreciated his fleece in years past – he was Best Black at the Melbourne Royal in 2018 (his only show ever) – when he was on the shearing table in 2019, the entire crew stopped to look! Length, lustre and locking were outstanding!  So, as we hadn’t selected a black Supreme son to add to stud row, he seemed a good choice. We have been very happy with his cria – black grey and fawn – but he isn’t getting the work he deserves with the number of stud males we have and it seems a pity to waste  such a quality male by leaving him in the paddock.
