About this alpaca
Halfway to Heaven is half Accoyo by our US Import Torbio’s Accoyo Supreme. His dam was a surprise black out of a white, sired by a black US import ABF Fine Thread’s Kingsford. She has produced 6/7 black cria to Supreme, all of them excellent quality.
While I had appreciated his fleece in years past – he was Best Black at the Melbourne Royal in 2018 (his only show ever), when he was on the shearing table in 2019, the entire crew stopped to look! Length, lustre and locking were outstanding! So, as we hadn’t selected a black Supreme son to add to stud row, he seemed a good choice.
