About this alpaca
The quality of Entrepreneur is no surprise – we have been breeding up to this male for a LONG time! With two white Pucara females we bought in 2001 when we started out (Eliza and Coretta) and our two best US imports from 2010, Ultimate Black and Durango, both on the maternal and paternal sides of his pedigree, this male shows the impact of judicious genetic layering (and patience!)
Entrepreneur attended three shows in 2024 for the following results:
- Red Hill – 1st Junior Black Male, Reserve Champion Junior Male and Best Black Suri
- Colourbration – 1st Intermediate Black Male and Champion Black Male
- National – 1st Intermediate Black Male, Reserve Champion Intermediate Male (beating the eventual Best White Male) and Best Black Suri.
Entrepreneur is exhibiting excellent lustrous regrowth and is expected to perform well in the 2025 show season.
He has been certified and we are hoping to have his first females settled this Spring.
We are still awaiting his coat colour test results, but expect him to be Eea2a2 like his sire.
